Voice Your Ideas Workshop for TTA Students – Part I

Robin Marshal conducted the ‘Voice Your Ideas’ workshop on the first day. Robin is a certified Soft Skills Trainers and is an MBA by qualification. He has a great experience in influencing people from all walks of life. He has conducted various training sessions in organizations like WNS, Symantec, Phoenix Mall Chain, Wani Technologies, Rotaract Club, Emcure Pharma, The Forum Vijaya Mall Chennai, Shoppers Stop, Abbott Labs, and So On.

Robin divided the audience into various groups and organized many activities for the groups. Each time a group won, Robin awarded the points. And at the end of the workshop, the group that had the maximum points won the prize. All of his activities were focused to develop confidence in the audience by helping them to overcome the stage-fear. The audience was quite engaged by Robin, mostly because the activities he conducted were interesting.

Robin offered tips to students that were simple yet effective. These tips helped students to address the audience without being too conscious of the audience. Students absolutely loved the workshop with Robin. One of the event management students from Times & Trends Academy, said, “It was such a great workshop. I needed this workshop from a long time because I had issues when it came to speaking in front of an audience. But I am quite confident now, and with the tips that Robin sir offered, I will be able to improve and overcome my weakness entirely.”
