Times & Trends Academy Launches 5 Centers in Pune Along with the Dazzling Fashion Show – Artha

Amit Agrawal, Founder and Chairman, Times & Trends Academy, said, “With growing demand for vocational education, TTA, as a leading education brand, decided to extend its reach by launching 5 new centres in Pune, and make education more accessible to the masses.  Youth is the future of this nation, and being in the education industry, it is our responsibility to skill them. TTA is a premier vocational training academy where we help experts and entrepreneurs understand how they can get paid as Fashion Designers, Interior Designers, Jewellery Designers, Event Managers, Finance Professionals, Animators, Graphics Designs, Life Coach & Entrepreneurs so that they can get their creativity out there and achieve Peace of Mind, Financial Freedom & a Career for Life.”

TTA launched these centres at its annual fashion show Artha – the union of passionate minds. Artha was held at The Westin, Koregaon Park – Pune, on 26th Aug 2017. Each year, Times and Trends Academy presents a fashion show that showcases the young upcoming fresh talent to the world of glamour. It comes up with a fashion fiesta for people who adore fashion, style, glamour and socializing!

This year, Artha, the fashion show, was inspired by the aquatic life. The theme was ‘Beyond the Sea.’ Taking inspiration from the sea, which has a universe of its own under it, TTA’s fashion show, presented a range of party-wear garments that are made with fabrics like Crepe Silk, Satin, Georgette, Scuba, Lycra Satin, etc. The fashion show has a total of 5 sequences: The Mesmerizing Mermaid, The Coral Reef, The Illusions of the Dark, The Colour of the Sea, and The Daughters of Poseidon. The audience was totally enthralled by the fashion show.

Chandrakant Sonawane, the lead costume designer for the hit Bollywood flick, Bajirao Mastani, also graced occasion as Guest of Honour.  Chandrakant is the chief mentor for fashion designing, fashion styling and fashion business management courses at TTA.  Chandrakant  also worked as a costume designer for the movie Ramleela. He conducts workshops for TTA students regularly and has also offered an internship to few students from TTA, who got an opportunity to work on his projects.

Chandrakant said, “When I was a student, my mentor was Amit Agrawal sir. He was always there for me to show the right direction, and I really worked hard and gave my 100%.  Everyone needs a direction, especially students because they are young and proper guidance can work wonders for their careers. The same was true for me. Now, I am the chief mentor at Times & Trends Academy, and as a mentor, I am glad to guide these young students and also offer them opportunities to work on my projects. I am sure they will love it.”

Rashmi Agrawal, Director – Times & Trends Academy, said, “Times and Trends Academy (TTA) is an academy that runs on a philosophy to build careers for all students and aspirants. The academy provides a perfect platform for all students to build technical skills along with the soft skills. Times and Trends Academy (TTA) takes extra efforts to bring out creativity from aspiring designers and professionals, and also develop their personality.”
